These are tubed verisons of the Bolivar Coronas. Brilliantly made with some complexity Bolivar Tubos No. 1 are inspiring, full-bodied cigars that deliver an enjoyable smoke. Much better in the cabinet selection than the box pressed, their dominating earthy qualities compliments a Bolivar spiciness.

Dressed in silky, milk-chocolate wrappers and firm to the touch, they have a smooth draw and burn perfectly even. However, they are not as aromatic as other Coronas.

Although these are Bolivar cigars, Tubos No. 1s are not as strong as some may expect. When lit, the flavors will be mild, if not a little weak. But by halfway through, the Cuban flavors start to come through. Some aficionados may find the overall flavor one-dimensional, but the notes of chocolate, wood, and coffee do offer a nice depth.
