Montecristo Petite Edmundo

Essentially a small version of the popular Montecristo Edmundo, each Montecristo Petit Edmundo cigar packs an array of tobacco flavors in its 4-inch cigar body. Typically Montecristo in terms of taste and strength, their woody and earthy character make for a brief but enjoyable smoke.

Well dressed in silky and oily colorado wrappers, their construction is nothing short of superb. Some care is needed to cut and light such a short, thick cigar (Petit Edmundos have the same 52 ring gauge as the larger Edmundos). But if done properly, the reward is an even burn and excellent draw that produces a lot of smoke.

Medium-bodied flavors of sweet woods, coffee, and a creamy bean background create a nice balanced texture. Along with the woody and earthy character, Petit Edmundo cigars deliver hints of herbs and leather while taking on a spicier edge towards the finish.

Overall, the reviews for these Montecristo cigars have been quite positive. Perhaps its own shortcoming is the delicious smoking experience doesn’t last long enough.
