Although the Lusitanias today are milder than when they were first introduced, they nonetheless deliver a very flavorful, long-lasting quality. A smooth woody taste takes hold as earth, pepper and cocoa join the mix. The complex array of flavors is later enhanced with sweet notes of coffee and a deep spicyness. The finish has a more woodier character.
