Quintero Cuban Cigars
Quintero Cuban cigars are mostly a machine-bunched/hand-finished line that was founded during the 1920s by five brothers. As one of the few Cuban brands not originally from Havana, it wasn’t until 1940, after the brand established its great reputation for quality, that production was moved there.
Ever since, Quintero has become a major export and is very popular in Spain.
Quintero cigars were originally available in handmade and machine made sizes. However, gradually the line was reduced to six machine-made and/or hand-finished sizes. It has the distinction of being the only machine-made Havana brand globally marketed by Habanos.
Quintero also produces three machine-made cigarillos: the Quintero Mini, Quintero Club, and the Quintero Purito.
This is a young brand, but their extremely competitive pricing makes them a good everyday option. They are medium to full flavoured, not too complex, smooth with spicy or sweet overtones, depending on the cigar type.
