Saint Luis Rey Cuban Cigars
Saint Luis Rey specializes in large sized cigars that are medium-to-full bodied. Although limited to approximately 60 000 pieces per year, these cigars are of superior quality and considered some of the best Cubans.
Handmade and superbly crafted using the best quality Vuelta Abajo tobacco, Saint Luis Rey cigars have an earthy, slightly sweet and spicy flavors. A hint of grass and subtle saltiness can also be detected. Their characteristic dark and refined wrappers makes them recognizable. Their appealing taste has made them very popular.
Saint Luis Rey cigars represent an excellent value and are less expensive than Cuban cigars of comparable quality. However, one should not confuse them with San Luis Rey - a machine-made, black-labeled Cuban-made brand made exclusively for the German market.
Saint Luis Rey cigars were named after the American movie, “The Bridge of Saint Luis Rey”, based on the book by Thornton Wilder.
