Trinidad Cuban Cigars
Created around the same time as the Cohiba, Trinidad Cuban cigars have also been used as diplomatic gifts by the Cuban government to foreign dignitaries. Before the last turn of the century, only Trinidad Fundadores cigars were commercially available.
Three new sizes were added to the line in October 2003: the Trinidad Coloniales, Trinidad Reyes and the Trinidad Robusto Extra.
An excellent Cuban cigar featuring a construction that is outstanding, Trinidad cigars are medium-to-full-bodied with an unknown tobacco blend that releases notes of herbal, floral and bean.
Manufactured at the El Laguito factory in Havana, they are packaged in the “unusual” quantity of 24 cigars as well as in cabinets of 50. For a time, Trinidads were considered the rarest cigar brand in the world.
