Vegueros Cuban Cigars

Introduction

An underrated but very delicious Havana brand, Vegueros Cuban cigars have always been associated with quality. Easily recognizable by their distinctive green and white cigar bands, Vegueros have a great mild-to-medium body and smooth taste that compares favorably to any of the more famous Havana cigars, but at a fraction of the cost.

Vegeuros cigars have existed as a local brand since 1960. Handmade at the Francisco Donatien cigar factory in Pinar del rio, where Vegas Robaina cigars are made, their construction and quality have been second-to-none.

Vegueros was not generally known among amateur smokers simply because its flavors are pretty straight-forward without any thrills. After all, they were intended for local consumption and not the international market.

The Flavors of Vegueros Cigars

Vegueros have a distinctive taste that is mellow and sweetly herbaceous. Well balanced and exceptionally well made, their smooth delivery also brings out traditional rich Cuban flavors.

Very subtle hints of grassy and fruity flavors are apparent; aromas are dominated by flowers and honey add some nice variety to the straight-forward tobacco taste. While some aging could them a wonderful complexity, Vegeuros cigars lean towards a more herbal flavor.

Vegueros Seoane cigars are small slender cigars provide a quick smoke. Medium-bodied, with dominant honey and chocolate flavors complimented by a delicate touch of spices. They also possess an unusual floral aroma.

Vegueros Mareva cigars are truly remarkable smokes from this brand. They are different from other Marevas both in terms of flavor and aroma, with tastes of freshly cut grass. These are light cigars, both in body and flavor, which makes them very suitable for a smoke during daytime.

Vegueros Especiales No. 1 cigars are mild-to-medium body cigars, great for a relaxing afternoon smoke. Very elegant and smooth, they emit sweet herbaceous and grassy flavors with an increasing spiciness. Delightfully easy to smoke, they are extremely underrated.

Vegueros Especiales No. 2 cigars are also mild-to-medium body, but with a light spiciness. Sweet and mild, they are very similar to the Vegueros Marevas. But their nice grassy flavors are reminiscent of Cohibas, but with a pleasant mild floral aroma as well. Great for beginners.
